When we get something wrong, we fix it fast, mark it clearly and log it here permanently.

Factual errors are corrected in the article with a dated note at the top. The original wording remains visible in the change log. Clarifications — where wording was accurate but incomplete — are labeled as such, not hidden inside edits.
Request a correction
Anyone can request one: email [email protected] or use the contact block below. Include the story link and the record you believe contradicts us. We respond to every request within two working days, whether or not we change the story.

Every correction is listed below with the date, the story and what changed. (Sample entries shown in this design preview: “July 14 — Library explainer: corrected the number of affected branches from 15 to 14 after the county published its final budget book.”)
