How we use AI
Software — including AI — helps us collect and organize public records. People decide what gets published. Here is exactly where that line sits.

It watches official government records twice a day, copies them verbatim, flags items by topic and dollar amount, and assembles records listings — like the seized-money receipt trail and the per-meeting receipts — directly from the government’s own wording. It also drafts internal summaries that help us decide what to look at first.
What it never does
Publish. Every explainer, alert and headline you read was reviewed by a person before it appeared. Automated records pages say so on the page, show the government’s wording verbatim, and link the official source — they are listings of the record, not stories.
How you can check us
Every automated page keeps the original government text one click away, next to a link to the official record. If our parsing or labeling of an item ever reads wrong to you, the verbatim wording is right there — and our corrections policy applies to automated pages exactly as it does to stories.
The lines we hold
No AI-generated images presented as real events. No synthetic quotes. No AI-written story published without human verification. And no AI system ever decides that something is a High Alert — that decision is always human.
